Boliviana de Aviation is national carrier of Plurinational State of Bolivia, the beginning of its operation is dated back to 2009, on 30 March 2009 BoA’s inaugural flight connected La Paz and Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Since that time BoA extended its network and operates wide network of scheduled domestic, regional and intercontinental flights covering principal cities in Bolivia and connecting them with Buenos Aires, Salta, Sao Paulo, Madrid and Miami. BoA’s main hubs are Viru Viru International Airport, Jorge Wilstermann International Airport and El Alto International Airport.
Boliviana de Aviación currently flies to 13 destinations in 5 countries and is the largest airline in Bolivia in terms of fleet size and passengers carried.
The fleet of the company includes Boeing 767-300ER, Boeing 737 both Classic and Next Generation and CRJ-200ER. The fleet meets all requirements mostly to operation in high-altitude airports where many Bolivian airports are located.
